Teaching Full Job Description Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary Algebra I Math Teacher to join our dedicated team of educators . The ideal candidate will inspire and engage students in the exploration of mathematical concepts, preparing them for future academic success. This position requires a commitment to student development, collaboration with colleagues, and active participation in the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with the curriculum standards. Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students. Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and a love for mathematics. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development to enhance teaching practices. Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns. Contribute to the development and evaluation of the mathematics curriculum. Participate in school events, meetings, and professional learning communities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field Valid teaching certificate in Florida for Mathematics 6-12 Proven experience teaching middle and high school students, with a strong understanding of secondary math concepts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a motivating and student-centered learning environment. Strong organizational and classroom management skills. Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.
