Middle and High School Teaching Professional Integrity Christian Academy Groveland, FL 34736 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment, engaging students in meaningful educational experiences, and promoting academic success. This role requires strong public speaking skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage a classroom effectively. The teacher will be expected to implement innovative teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning styles and encourage literacy education. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the needs of all students. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a respectful and productive learning environment. Engage students in active learning through discussions, group projects, and hands-on activities. Assess student performance through various evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback to support their growth. Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and/or team (Administrators) regarding student progress and any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and share best practices. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies. Incorporate Montessori principles where applicable to support individualized learning paths. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred. Strong public speaking skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff. Experience in classroom management techniques that foster a positive learning atmosphere. Punctuality and dependability. Knowledge of literacy education strategies to enhance student reading and writing skills. Passion and dedication to see children succeed academically and socially. Proficiency in copy editing and proofreading to ensure high-quality instructional materials are used in the classroom. Understanding of childhood development principles to support age-appropriate teaching practices. Commitment to ongoing professional growth through education administration or related training opportunities.
