High School Math Teacher 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Atlanta, GA 30329 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Geometry and Algebra I and a commitment to fostering an engaging learning environment for students. This role involves educating students in subjects such as Genetics, Biochemistry, and Special Education, while also implementing effective behavior management strategies and curriculum development. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic growth of students and support their overall development in a private school setting. This is a part-time job with reporting to work Tuesday – Thursday from 7:45am – 12:45pm. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Educate students in Geometry and Algebra I. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices. Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback. Support special education needs within the classroom, ensuring all students receive appropriate accommodations. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends and methodologies. Experience A degree in Education or a related field is required; higher education teaching experience is preferred. Proven experience in curriculum development and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with teaching Geometry and Algerbra I Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with students effectively.
