Job Description Seeking a qualified professional to teach STEM for grades 3-8 and Gifted for grades 4 and 5 for the 2025-2026 school year. This position is part time. Deliver STEM-oriented instruction through project-based learning methods. Use technology to promote learning, creativity, and collaboration. Promote real-world applications by connecting STEM concepts to practical, real-life problems. Integrate Biblical principles throughout the curriculum and activities. Establish and maintain standards of student behavior. Provide specialized instruction and support to students identified as gifted. Create challenging and engaging learning experiences. Collaborate with teachers in grades 4-8 as a guide in differentiating learning in the regular classroom. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution Gifted Endorsement preferred Experience with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Urban school classroom experience Meet the professional teacher education requirements of the school and state 3+ years of relevant teaching experience preferred Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to build a rapport with students from diverse backgrounds in grades 4-8 Thriving personal relationship with Christ Energetic and engaging person with knowledge of content Must agree with the AHA Statement of Faith without reservations
