You will lead professional learning, conduct observations and feedback cycles, analyze student data and work products, and help build a culture of continuous growth. You are the kind of leader who sees the connection between daily instruction and long-term outcomes—and can coach others to see and act on it, too. Observation & Feedback Conduct regular classroom observations aligned to the NIET or Louisiana Educator Rubric Provide timely, actionable, specific and high leverage feedback to support teacher growth Model instructional strategies and co-teach as needed to build teacher skill and confidence Use observation data to identify teacher development needs and inform coaching priorities Collaboration & Coaching Partner with teachers in planning, instruction, and reflection to support continuous improvement Facilitate one-on-one and small group coaching cycles grounded in student learning outcomes Collaborate with school leaders to monitor instructional trends and design targeted supports Contribute to teacher evaluation processes through evidence-based documentation and input Data-Driven Instruction Lead weekly data meetings and support teachers in using student work, formative checks, and assessment data to inform instruction Ensure instructional decisions are grounded in a clear analysis of student learning needs Build teacher capacity to design interventions and adjust instruction based on real-time data Professional Learning & Schoolwide Support Facilitate PLCs and professional development aligned to academic standards and instructional best practices Lead learning experiences that are rooted in student work analysis and high-impact instructional strategies Support the development and rollout of schoolwide academic goals, priorities, and initiatives Promote a culture of reflective practice, collaboration, and high expectations Administrative Maintain accurate records of coaching cycles, feedback sessions, and teacher progress toward instructional goals Support the collection and analysis of schoolwide academic data to inform strategic planning Contribute to the teacher evaluation process through rubric-aligned evidence and written documentation Assist in planning and executing schoolwide professional development sessions and PD calendars Coordinate with school leadership to align instructional priorities Track the implementation of schoolwide instructional practices and follow up on next steps with teachers Manage logistics for PLCs, data meetings, and coaching schedules to ensure consistency and follow-through Participate in leadership team meetings and contribute to school improvement planning and progress monitoring School and Community Culture Model and teach the mission, vision, and values of Jefferson RISE in daily interactions and classroom practices Design and implement routines and supports that teach positive behaviors aligned to the principles of being safe, respectful, and responsible Reinforce student leadership and character by addressing behavior through skill-building and clear expectations Build a strong classroom community by partnering with families to support students’ academic success and personal growth
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Certification:
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred Minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience with demonstrated success At least 2 years of experience coaching teachers or leading instruction Experience with Louisiana state standards, curriculum, and assessment systems a plus Familiarity with NIET strongly preferred
Experience and Skills:
Technological proficiency in Google Drive (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides) Excellent communication skills High level of personal organization and planning Proven track record of student achievement and/or growth

BENEFITS RISE
employees are paid twice a month on the 15th and last day of each month. Jefferson RISE pays the following employee-only benefit costs for all full-time employees: coverage 85% of medical premiums and 100% of dental, vision, short and long term disability premiums. The Employee covers the remaining costs, including 15% employee medical and all spouse/dependent costs. RISE provides a 401(k) retirement plan to all W-2 employees, including a match of up to 100% of contributions on the first 3% deferred, then 50% of contributions from 3% to 5%. There is no vesting period. Jefferson RISE reserves the right to offer different or additional benefits to the Employee at any time.
