We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable General Education Math Teacher to join our team in the New Orleans area. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality instruction in mathematics to middle or high school students, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes academic growth and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver standards-aligned math lessons tailored to student needs Use a variety of instructional strategies to support diverse learning styles Assess and track student progress through formal and informal assessments Create a classroom culture of respect, engagement, and high expectations Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to enhance student learning Integrate technology and real-world applications to enrich instruction

Requirements:

Valid Louisiana teaching license with certification in Math Bachelors or Masters degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field Strong knowledge of math content and effective instructional practices Excellent classroom management and communication skills Experience teaching in a general education setting (preferred)
