$68.8K – $103K a year 2 hours ago Qualifications Teaching Certification Tutoring Mid-level 8 years Math Bachelor’s degree Communication skills Teaching Full Job Description We are seeking dedicated WIN Tutors to support our schoolwide intervention and enrichment program, WIN (What I Need). This role is essential in providing targeted mathematics instruction to help bridge learning gaps and extend learning opportunities for students already meeting grade-level expectations.
As a WIN Tutor, you will work with homogenous, tiered groups during a dedicated 2530 minute daily instructional block, delivering differentiated instruction tailored to student needs. Your work will play a vital role in ensuring all students receive the personalized support necessary for academic success.
Major Responsibilities of WIN Tutors:
Develop targeted lessons and provide instruction to small groups of students focusing on key math and literacy concepts and skills.
Assist with educational assessments such as benchmark tests and diagnostic screeners.
Implement and monitor student progress using schoolwide computer-based programs such as i-Ready, IXL, Aimsweb, etc. Regularly meet and communicate with curriculum coordinators and collaborating teachers to align support with classroom instruction and curriculumProvide progress updates on students performances and collect data to track student growth and inform instructional decisions.
Other additional duties may be assigned without additional compensation or stipend.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors DegreeMA Teacher Certification or Highly Qualified status (Preferred qualification) Prior experience with tutoring elementary aged students (preferred) Strong background in mathematics instruction and intervention strategiesPrefer training and knowledge of Bridges curriculum and/or courses taken aligned with math instruction and knowledge Basic knowledge of instructional technologies and adaptive learning platformsPossess strong communication and collaboration skills Successful prior teaching experience; 3 or more years preferred
