SUMMARY:
Central Maine Community College seeks adjunct faculty to teach Astronomy, statistics, quantitative reasoning, and algebra-based courses. The instructor will deliver and use a learning management system. The courses are a combination of day and evening classes and are on-ground at our Auburn campus.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE AT A MINIMUM
Master’s degree in mathematics, physics, or engineering (electrical, civil, or mechanical)
Experience teaching college-level mathematics
Experience in the field
Experience with Brightspace or other Learning Management System
Possess enthusiasm and passion for student learning and be able to respond to the needs of students using a variety of teaching methods
