Instructor of Mathematics Job Description/Overview:
The position of Mathematics Instructor is now available for qualified applicants. Applicants interested in this position must have a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics. A master’s degree or higher in Mathematics is preferred. Applicants will be expected to teach mathematics courses ranging from Intermediate Mathematics to higher mathematics such as Linear Algebra and Differential Equations. Individuals must have a thorough understanding of the use of technology as a supplemental instructional tool and express an aspiration toward life-long learning and an awareness of working as a member of a departmental team. Duties will include but are not limited to: instruction of mathematics courses, membership on college committees, sponsorship of student organizations, and advisement of students in math-related fields as well as General Studies students.
