GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE FUNCTION

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Master’s Degree with a minimum of eighteen hours in Mathematics or related field, with 18.0 graduate hours in Mathematics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES, include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Maintain knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices. Teach 15.0-17.0 hours of undergraduate classes in Mathematics each term. Academic advising of students. Active participation in college committees. Manage course grading and records management. Contribute to department-wide program development and assessment. Participate in student recruitment and retention efforts. Participate in professional development activities and contribute to the general college community. Maintain regular, required office hours to be available and meet with students.
