The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing targeted support to students who require additional assistance in their learning journey. This role involves creating success pathways for students by providing tutoring support, interventions, small group lessons, coaching and guidance. Effective communication with parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs. The Intervention Specialist will play a crucial role in fostering an inclusive learning environment that promotes academic success and personal growth. •This position is highly flexible and created in an holistic environment. The ideal teacher will create their own individual process, routines and direction. Responsibilities Assess and identify the specific needs of students requiring intervention support. Develop and implement individualized education plans or intervention strategies that align with curriculum standards. Provide one-on-one tutoring and small group instruction to enhance student learning outcomes. Integrate intervention strategies into classroom instruction. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment. Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress and document interventions. Engage in curriculum development to create resources that meet diverse learning needs. Offer academic advising and support for students navigating their educational paths. Maintain accurate records of student performance, interventions, and progress reports. Experience Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably tutoring, small group instruction or coaching Strong background in tutoring and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with student support and goals plans Experience in developing curriculum materials tailored to diverse learners is highly desirable.
