POSITION SUMMARY

Prepare and implements curriculum and lesson plans for patients/residents admitted to the residential program in a classroom setting. Students age range 12

  • 17 years. Provides professional level instruction in accordance with North Carolina Standard Course of Study and comply with all state, federal, and local regulatory laws. Schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday
  • Friday between the hours of 8:30am
  • 5pm.

All classes are in-person learning.

MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS
Education:

Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree in secondary education preferred.

Experience:

Prior experience in teaching preferred. License /

Certification:

NC Educators license through the NC Department of Public Instruction.

Physical requirements:

Light Work

  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for sedentary work.
