Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging and rigorous lesson plans aligned with New York State learning standards. Foster a positive, inclusive, and challenging classroom environment that supports student success in mathematics. Use data-driven instruction to assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving through real-world applications of mathematical concepts. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with IEPs and English Language Learners. Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning. Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues to support student achievement. Participate in professional development opportunities and collaborate with fellow educators.

Qualifications:

Must hold a valid New York State Mathematics Teaching Certification. Strong classroom management and communication skills.
