WE ARE HIRING A MATH TEACHER AND AN ENGLISH TEACHER MATH TEACHER
  • Grades 9
  • 12 Full-time Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM
  • 3:00
PM Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a commitment to supporting the diverse needs of our students. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and adolescents with special learning and behavioral needs. Teacher will serve students with a wide range of personalities and learning impairments.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging Math curriculum for students in grades 9

  • 12.
  • Provide differentiated instruction to meet the individual learning styles and abilities of students with behavioral and learning disabilities.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes creativity, self-expression, and confidence.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members and support staff to address the unique needs of each student.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, technologies, and resources to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Assess student progress and provide ongoing feedback to support academic and social-emotional growth.
  • Participate in school-wide events, meetings, and professional development activities as required.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Math Education or related field.

  • Valid teaching Pennsylvania certification/license in Math education.
  • Experience working with students with behavioral and learning disabilities preferred.
  • Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children and adolescents with special needs.
  • Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment that celebrates diversity and individual strengths.
