Summary We are seeking a passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Abraxas Youth & Family Services. In this role, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in mathematics, helping them develop critical thinking skills and a love for learning. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards. Teach mathematics concepts effectively to students of varying skill levels. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning. Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles. Collaborate with other educators and staff to support student success across disciplines. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Education with a focus on Mathematics. Teaching certification or licensure in the state of employment is preferred. Experience in lesson planning and classroom management is essential. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
