To plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in a middle/high school learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential and spiritual growth and to understand their identity in God. Middle/High School Principal General Responsibilities ‘

General Responsibilities ‘ Specific to This Position
Under the direction of the Middle/High School Principal (and with collaborative guidance from the Dean of Education) will be responsible for planning and delivery of instruction and appropriate recording and presenting of academic growth of the students being served to create faithful disciples of Christ. Specific Duties (Examples)
Plan, prepare, and deliver biblically-integrated lesson plans and instructional materials
Develop schemes of work, instructional methods, and assessment instruments designed to develop students as faithful disciples of Christ, recognizing their God-given talents and using them to serve Him.
Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
Instruct and monitor students; keep records timely
Study, master and apply strategies to integrate curriculum with the Bible. (For example, we currently use Teaching for Transformation as a model for integration.)
Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.
Observe and evaluate student’s performance and development with regard to academic content and growth as a disciple of Christ.
Assign and grade class work, homework, tests, and assignments.
Motivate and manage student behavior by establishing, teaching and enforcing rules and expectations. Address misconduct with Bible-based coaching and restorative corrective action.
Maintain discipline campus-wide using a restorative discipline approach focusing on learning and relying on school rules and the Bible as the final standard for all behavior
