Upper School Mathematics Teacher 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars 7607 Old York Rd, Melrose Park, PA 19027 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and the ability to engage students in learning through innovative teaching methods. This position involves teaching various mathematical courses while fostering a supportive and inclusive Special Education classroom environment. Duties Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and accommodate diverse learning styles. Teach mathematical concepts such as trigonometry, differential equations, and other advanced topics. Utilize learning technology to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement. Assess student progress through regular testing, quizzes, and assignments while providing constructive feedback. Support students with special educational needs by adapting lessons to their individual requirements. Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching strategies and share best practices. Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field; teaching certification preferred (Private or Public). Effective communication skills. Experience in classroom management and effective teaching strategies. Familiarity with learning technology tools that facilitate interactive learning experiences. Ability to work collaboratively with students of varying abilities, including those requiring special education support.
