Job Summary:
James Island Christian School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time High School Math Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will teach math courses aligned with state standards and school curriculum, inspire students to develop analytical and problem-solving skills, and contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher, Certified by the state of South Carolina, and/or Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), or eligible for certification.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective instruction in high school math subjects (e.g., Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry). Develop lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials aligned with curriculum standards Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback and support Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and communications with students and parents Foster a safe and respectful classroom environment Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school staff Participate in department meetings and professional development as required Uphold school policies, values, and mission
Work Schedule:
