This is an exciting opportunity to teach under the guidance of Principal Dr. Michelle Demps , a leader in education, while making a lasting impact on students’ academic and spiritual growth. Duties Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with educational standards and meets the needs of all students. Create lesson plans that promote literacy education and incorporate various teaching methodologies. Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing behavior management strategies to create a conducive learning environment. Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with special education staff to support students with diverse learning needs. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional development. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred. Experience working with elementary-aged students in a classroom setting. Strong skills in curriculum development and lesson planning. Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective literacy education strategies. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively. Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that respects diversity.
