Certified Math Teacher 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars Oneida, TN 37841 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves teaching various mathematical concepts and engaging students in a High School setting. The Mathematics Teacher will play a crucial role in shaping students’ understanding of mathematics and its applications in real-world scenarios. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with educational standards and curriculum goals. Teach mathematical concepts ranging from basic arithmetic to advanced topics such as trigonometry. Facilitate engaging classroom discussions that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Provide individualized support to students, including those with special education needs, ensuring all learners can succeed. Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and instructional strategies. Participate in scientific research projects that enhance the learning experience for students. Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus. Must be a licensed TN educator with appropriate endorsements. Strong knowledge of mathematical principles and curriculum development. Ability to engage students effectively and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
