Job Description
Adjunct Professor of Math Expand
Adjunct Instructor (3 courses) in Mathematics. The instructor is responsible for teaching MA 105 (intermediate algebra). The study of polynomials, linear and nonlinear equations and inequalities, exponents, radicals, systems, relations, and functions. An Algebra review for students based on their placement scores. In-person classroom instruction is required.
Qualifications:
Minimum master’s degree in math with 18 graduate hours in math or a math education master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in math or math education.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Must be familiar with and have a basic understanding of computers and their application in an academic setting.
Knowledge of
CANVAS LMS
is a plus
Ability to guide students in classroom learning
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Ability to teach Algebra effectively
