Job Summary/Basic Function The Department of University Studies at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a full-time, temporary (non-tenurable) faculty position (#136020) at the rank of lecturer. This is a one-year temporary appointment. The contract may be renewed annually based on available funding, demonstrated need, and satisfactory performance as assessed by annual evaluations. The successful candidate will teach lower level college mathematics courses and must have the capacity to work with students of varying abilities. Availability to teach night or dual enrollment classes, as needed, is also expected. The start date for the appointment is August 1, 2025. Required Education A master’s degree in mathematics or closely related field with at least 18 graduate hours in mathematics from an accredited college or university is required by the appointment date.
