Ideal candidates will work well with both students and staff and have excellent communication skills. The right candidate will also have an established background in their subject area, a passion for the subject and the ability to inspire students to excel.
Responsibilities:
Deeply understand the Alabama State Standards and establish clear learning targets for every lesson. Build rigorous and aligned assessments and consistently implement high leverage literacy practices. Regularly update lesson plans and materials. Build a productive classroom culture to promote a growth mindset. Consistently develop strong relationships with students and parents while diligently relaying expectations, news, and/or concerns. Actively participate in professional learning opportunities.
