After-School Teacher Inner Strength Taekwondo Mobile, AL 36608 Afterschool Program Lead Mobile, AL $12 – $15 per hour Part-time | Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM Expanded hours available during summer (up to full-time) A local youth program is seeking a dependable, energetic Afterschool Program Lead to guide and support students in a fun, structured environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and is ready to take on a leadership position with support from a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily afterschool program operations Supervise and engage students in a safe and positive environment Support daily routines, behavior expectations, and activity transitions Communicate with parents and staff clearly and professionally Track attendance and help coordinate day-to-day logistics

Requirements:

2-5 years of experience working with children (afterschool, childcare, education, camp, etc.) Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to stay calm and focused in a busy setting Must be available Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM Willingness to work full-time hours during summer months

Preferred Qualifications:

CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified) Previous experience in a leadership role Background in youth development, education, or recreation is a plus
