ESE Teacher Cambridge Elementary Magnet School Cocoa, FL 32922 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting the academic and personal growth of students. This role requires effective communication skills, creativity in lesson planning, and the ability to engage students in meaningful learning experiences. The Teacher will work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community to support student success. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Educate students in various subjects while incorporating literacy education and childhood development principles. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities. Utilize standardized testing to assess student performance and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Provide support for students with diverse needs, including those requiring speech therapy or behavioral health interventions. Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters respect. Monitor and evaluate student progress through regular assessments and feedback. Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance teaching methodologies. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred. Experience working with ESE students in a classroom setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of writing and implementing an IEP Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices. Strong proofreading skills for preparing instructional materials and assessments. Ability to communicate effectively with students of varying ages and backgrounds. Familiarity with behavioral health strategies to support diverse learners is a plus.
