Parkhurst Academy is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cadets Teacher to lead our cadets program, helping students develop integrity, responsibility, and a heart for service. Role Overview The Cadets Teacher will oversee weekly cadet sessions for elementary and/or middle school students. This program blends character education, leadership training, physical activity, and biblical principles to help students grow into responsible, godly young men and women. Responsibilities Plan and lead weekly cadets class sessions and activities Teach foundational values such as discipline, teamwork, integrity, and servant leadership Incorporate Scripture and biblical principles into lessons Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment Coordinate occasional service projects or special events Communicate with parents and school leadership about student progress Model Christlike behavior and mentor students in their personal and spiritual development Qualifications A committed Christian with a heart for discipleship and teaching Prior experience working with youth, ideally in a school or ministry setting Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage a group of students with consistency and care Energetic, positive, and approachable Teaching credential or ministry training preferred but not required Why Choose Parkhurst Academy?
