Middle School French Teacher Somerset Academy Parkland 8401 University Drive, Parkland, FL 33076 Middle School French Teacher Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop their language skills and foster a love for the French language and culture. This role requires creativity, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage students in a dynamic learning environment. The French Teacher will be responsible for creating lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing academic support to enhance literacy education. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Teach French language skills including reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Foster an interactive classroom environment that encourages student participation. Assess student performance through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback. Incorporate learning technology to enhance the educational experience. Support students in academic advising and guide them in their language learning journey. Encourage creative writing and research projects that promote language proficiency. Skills Proficient in French with strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience in literacy education and understanding of diverse learning styles. Ability to creatively integrate technology into the classroom for enhanced learning experiences. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Experience in private school settings is a plus. Background in creative writing or research is beneficial. Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
