The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment, engaging students in mathematical concepts, and promoting skills. This role requires a strong foundation in various mathematical disciplines, including Algebra, Geometry, and Differential Equations, as well as the ability to integrate learning technology into lesson plans. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Teach a range of mathematical topics including Algebra, Geometry, and Differential Equations, to students at various levels. Utilize learning technology to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement. Assess student performance through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their growth. Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and respect among students. Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects that integrate mathematics with other subjects, such as Biochemistry. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational practices and advancements in mathematics education. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s academic performance. Experience A degree in Mathematics or Education with a focus on Mathematics is preferred. Experience teaching mathematics at the middle or high school level is highly desirable. teaching methods is a plus. Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development is essential. Experience with proofreading educational materials for accuracy and clarity is beneficial. Knowledge of research laboratory practices related to mathematics applications is an advantage.
