Elementary Classroom Teacher (Full-time) Covenant Community School 2019 SW Main Boulevard, Lake City, FL 32025 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Staff to join our educational team. As a Teaching Staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and preparing them for their future endeavors. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and encourages student participation. Assess and evaluate student progress through standardized testing and other assessment methods. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and classroom activities. Facilitate discussions and activities that promote social skills, teamwork, and respect among peers. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and individual learning plans. Collaborate with educational administration to enhance curriculum delivery and address any classroom challenges. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on teaching strategies and educational best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field Valid teaching certification/license Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and educational B.E.S.T. standards. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively educate and engage students. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and educational assessments. A collaborative mindset to work effectively with fellow educators, parents, and administration.
