The teacher is responsible for supervising, educating, and supporting students to help them accomplish learning objectives. Their duties include planning lessons, managing classroom behavior to keep all students engaged in the lesson, fostering a positive learning environment, and providing individual support and feedback for their students. Teachers should be able to manage a classroom, communicate and teach one or more subjects clearly and effectively, while providing a strong Christian platform. The ELA Teacher work day is 7:45-2:45.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant field.
• Possess a Florida teaching license or FACCS certification.
• Maintain current teaching certifications.
• Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with the Abeka teaching curriculum is a plus.
• A sound knowledge of the subjects to be taught at the secondary level.
