-We are seeking an energetic, dedicated, passionate Summer Camp and after-school teacher for POISE “TEEN” Career exploration out-of-school-time program, ages 13 and up, to join the POISE team. This position is for Summer Camp (9-5) and Afterschool Teacher (3-6pm). Applicants should be dedicated and serious about educating our youth! POISE provides instruction in academic assistance, job readiness, home economics, life skills training, financial literacy, arts and crafts, games, sports, etc., to help teens transition successfully into adulthood. Create a positive and engaging learning environment Ability to recruit and maintain enrollment of 40-60 Teens Utilize effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students Maintain accurate records of student attendance, learning, and behavior Plan games and activities that are developmentally appropriate Responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions for the teens Maintain and adhere to POISE policy and procedures Maintain the classroom and common use area Be proactive in planning and maintaining curriculum for career readiness and life skills training Assist in other capacities that the Director determines are necessary

-Poise Teen Afterschool Program seeks a dedicated teacher to start immediately, responsible for maintaining a curriculum that empowers teens to transition into adulthood successfully. The ideal candidate will guide students aged 13 through graduation in essential life skills, job readiness, and financial literacy, fostering confidence and practical knowledge. This role involves actively recruiting and maintaining program enrollment, ensuring a vibrant and engaged student community. Additionally, the teacher will lead engaging sessions in arts and crafts, interactive games, study skills, and etiquette, creating a well-rounded out-of- school time experience that prepares teens for future success.
