Part-Time Instructor – Coding, Robotics & STEAM (After-School & Summer Camp) Wize Computing Academy Brandon, FL 33511 About Us Wize Computing Academy of Riverview/Brandon offers hands-on, project-based STEAM programs that help students build skills in coding, robotics, and design thinking. Our goal is to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers and innovators through engaging, real-world learning experiences. Job Summary We are hiring energetic and enthusiastic Instructors to teach technology and STEAM-based classes to students aged 4-18. Classes are held on-site at local partner schools. Instruction is guided by a ready-to-use curriculum and includes both online and offline projects.

During the school year:

Sessions are 1 hour long and occur during the day or after school.

During the summer:

Week-long camps run 4-5 days per week, with half-day (4 hrs) or full-day (8 hrs) sessions based on enrollment. All training is paid , and a teaching assistant is provided for larger classes (12-14+ students). Responsibilities Deliver fun, age-appropriate lessons in coding, robotics, and technology using provided materials. Foster a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment. Engage with students in a way that encourages curiosity and hands-on learning. Track student attendance and progress. Communicate regularly with program staff and parents, as needed. Attend paid training and occasional team meetings. Represent Wize Computing Academy with enthusiasm and professionalism. Qualifications Education or experience in technology, education, or related fields. Experience working with children or teens (preferred). Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills. Comfort using tablets, laptops, and basic classroom technology. Must pass a background check.
