Duties Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the varying abilities of students. Teach subjects such as Geometry and Special Education, ensuring that all students understand the material. Provide academic advising and mentoring to support student growth and development. Facilitate classroom discussions, encourage public speaking, and promote critical thinking skills among students. Assess student performance through various evaluation methods, including tests, projects, and presentations. Offer tutoring sessions for students needing additional support outside regular class hours. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding academic performance. Collaborate with fellow educators in education administration tasks, including curriculum development and school events. Utilize library services effectively to enhance teaching materials and resources available for students. Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on educational best practices. Skills Strong knowledge of subject matter, particularly in Geometry and Special Education. Excellent public speaking skills to effectively communicate lessons and engage students. Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and varying abilities. Proficient in academic advising and mentoring techniques to guide student success.
