Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum for the specific subject area(s) assigned, such as Math or Physical Education
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and participation
• Provide instruction to students using a variety of teaching methods and resources
• Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement strategies to support student success
• Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times, including during recess or physical education activities
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information

Requirements:

• School Readiness
• Valid teaching certifications
• Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting
• Strong knowledge and expertise in the subject area(s) assigned, such as Math or Physical Education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
• Strong organizational skills to effectively manage classroom activities and materials
