Middle School Math Teacher 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 4550 30th Street East, Bradenton, FL 34203 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves teaching various mathematical concepts, including but not limited to discrete math, algebra, trigonometry, and more. The Mathematics Teacher will utilize innovative learning technologies and instructional strategies to engage students and enhance their understanding of mathematical principles. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Teach mathematical concepts including discrete math, algebra, trigonometry, and related subjects. Utilize learning technology to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement. Assess student performance through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback. Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Incorporate Montessori principles where applicable to promote independent learning. Collaborate with other educators to integrate interdisciplinary approaches, particularly in relation to subjects like cell biology or research laboratory techniques when relevant. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s development. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field; teaching certification preferred. Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts including discrete math, algebra, trigonometry, and higher education teaching methodologies. Experience with learning technology tools that facilitate interactive learning experiences. Familiarity with Montessori teaching methods is a plus. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all students. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
