Elementary is looking for a highly effective teacher(s) for the opening of the Premier Arts-infused Dual Language PreK -Grade 5 elementary school. While our Arts program will be one to highlight, we strive to maintain a standard of excellence in our core dual language academic program. Teachers will be trained and supported in interdisciplinary-themed units that prepare students for classrooms that support emergent bilingual learners. Job Description:

The Student Support Coordinator:

plays a vital role at ¡HOLA! Elementary. Candidates should have a working knowledge of students support services and student resources. They should be vested in student success and committed to supporting classroom instruction in grades PreK – 5.

Duties include:

Monitoring student progress and working with staff to assist students in meeting their IEP goals Assuring student records are accurate and maintained and accurate Communicating with administration, staff, parents, and District Charter School contacts ensures that the BEST State Standards are taught in all content areas, as required by law. Support collaborative planning sessions and grade-level meetings, accordingly. Participate in professional development and training that support the school’s mission Demonstrate professional writing and speaking skills in all correspondence. Demonstrate patience, compassion, understanding, and tolerance when required. Demonstrate moral, intellectual, and professional strength required to help make tough decisions. Implement professional development in order to uphold the school mission. Demonstrate an understanding of the fundamental differences between charter schools and regular public schools, including governance, operations, and funding. A willingness to work in a fast-paced environment is essential. A team player with a good sense of humor. Support the school climate by conducting regular teacher duties as assigned.

Applicants requirements:

A current Florida teaching certification or certificate of eligibility for grades K-5. A minimum Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree or higher is preferred also, and Attain all certifications and endorsements as required by law. We are located in Manatee County near Tampa Bay and the Gulf Beaches ¡HOLA! Elementary @ MSA is a tuition-free choice public charter school.
