After school extracurricular activities teacher 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars 3900 SW Citrus Boulevard, Palm City, FL 34990 Overview New Hope Fellowship on Citrus Boulevard in Palm City is planning a program of after school extracurricular activities, with a planned starting date in August.
We are looking for:
1) A part-time administrator for the program who would be remunerated based upon the number of students, 2) instructors who would teach classes in 45-minute blocks from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and also be paid according to the number of students. Instructors do not need to be certified teachers but must be knowledgeable and able to teach on their subjects. Topics may include but are not limited to the following: Drama, Art, Dance, Home-EC (cooking, sewing, childcare development, budgeting, managing a home), Music-Piano, Music-Violin, Music-Flute, Music-Drums, Music-Garter, Music-Voice, Tutoring-Math, Tutoring-Reading, Writing-Calligraphy, Speech-toastmasters, Ballet, Gymnastics, Shop (Woodworking, Automotive, Welding), Bible studies, Robotics, Chess-Board Games, Archery, Sports-Volleyball and Basketball. Incorporate various teaching methods, including hands-on activities, group work, and technology integration. Qualifications Experience working with children in various capacities such as babysitting, tutoring, or sports coaching is highly desirable. Skills in classroom management to create an effective learning environment. Knowledge of Christian counseling principles is a plus for those interested in integrating values into their teaching approach. First aid certification is beneficial for ensuring student safety during after school activities. Experience in childcare or theater can enhance engagement strategies within the classroom setting.
