This position’s purpose is for assisting in the After Care Program, carrying out the provisions and policies in implementing developmentally appropriate programs and learning experiences for those children attending. Duties Prepare/maintain a sanitary learning envornemnt for students prior to arrival/post departure. Providing/organizing learning material to assist with appropriate learning objectives Prepare daily activities/crafts for children. Provide 1:1 with students in small-group setting Providing students with structured outdoor activities/games Documenting/Observing students academic progress. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a comprehensive support system for students.
Requirements Daily Shift Hours:
(12:00PM – 5:00PM) School-Out/Teacher Planning Days & Holiday Breaks (9:00AM-5:00PM) •Schedule/Dates Available•Level 2 Background Clearance/Fingerprinting DCF 45-Hour Child Care Training (Preferred) CPR/First Aid Certified Education Experience (STEM, Reading)
Bi-Lingual:
English/Spanish, English/French-Creole (Preferred, Not Required) Energetic, Positive, Coachable =) Organizational Skills This role is essential in shaping the educational experience of students by providing them with the tools they need to succeed both academically and socially!
