OF TRANSFORMATION MENTORING PROGRAM

is a non-profit Christian organization dedicated to serving girls aged 8-17 through comprehensive mentoring and development services. Our programs include group and one-on-one mentoring, life skills training, academic enrichment, and educational support.

We offer four dynamic programs:

Afterschool Program, Summer Mentorship Program, Parenting Program, and a 12-week Saturday Mentorship Program.

POSITION

GOT is seeking a passionate and dedicated Christian female educator to join our team. As an Afterschool Teacher, you’ll provide a nurturing environment where girls in grades K-8 can grow academically, spiritually, and personally.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Teach academic enrichment, homework help, and life skills Integrate biblical principles into daily activities Manage a classroom of up to 20 students Provide light group tutoring in Reading, English, and Math Serve as a liaison for the afterschool program

REQUIREMENTS

Experience working with elementary & middle school students Strong Christian faith and values Ability to work Monday-Friday, 1:00-6:00pm Passion for mentoring and teaching girls Instructional responsibilities that includes (homework help, light group tutoring, study skills development, life skills enrichment activities with biblical integration, academic goal setting, literacy support (reading & writing), math support, organization and time management skills. Teacher will serve as a liaison for the afterschool program.

As an Afterschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in guiding students to reach their academic potential, fostering a supportive environment that motivates and inspires them to succeed.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience preparing and implementing daily lesson plans Documenting student progress, attendance, and incidents Diagnosing academic weaknesses and providing feedback using IXL software (training provided) Keeping Program Manager informed of activities and issues Administrative tasks: tracking attendance, distributing snacks, maintaining site and equipment Experience tutoring elementary Math and English Strong classroom management and guidance skills Ensuring student safety and well-being Reliable transportation and punctuality Professional demeanor

EDUCATION

45 Hours DCF Child Care Training (optional) Associates Degree Bachelor Degree (Preferred)

CERTIFICATION

First Aid/CPR Certification Level II Background Screening Clearance Valid Class E driver’s license with ability to drive a 15-passenger van
