Job Description

Holy Cross is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School English Language Arts Teacher to join our 2025-2026 school year, Christ-centered educational community. We are committed to nurturing students academically, spiritually, and socially in a supportive environment rooted in Biblical principles.

Responsibilities:

Teach ELA curriculum to students in grades grades: 6-8 Foster a classroom culture of faith, respect, and academic excellence Integrate Biblical worldview into instruction and classroom management Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and parents to support student growth Engage students with dynamic lessons in reading, writing, grammar, and literature Participate in school activities, chapels, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or related field Valid teaching certification (or working toward certification) Strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and alignment with the school’s statement of faith Passion for middle school students and Christian education Excellent communication and organizational skills Prior teaching experience preferred How to
