Montessori Classroom Assistant (Grades 1-3) plus After School Care 1.0 1.0 out of 5 stars 1423 Julia Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034 Amelia Island Montessori School (AIMS) is seeking a Lower Elementary (grades 1-3) Montessori Classroom Assistant to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a school-year position, with an option for additional hours in the summertime. The position is Monday-Friday from 9:30am-5:00pm, which includes time in our After School Care program. Join our dedicated team of professionals as we work together to support Montessori environments for children ages 18 months to 12 years. The model candidate will be someone who nurtures children, is flexible with a growth-mindset, has a positive/can-do attitude and a strong desire to work as part of a team, and is passionate about creating and maintaining a beautiful educational environment while following the Montessori philosophy.

Requirements :
Previous experience with children (preferred) Montessori experience (a plus!) Undergraduate Degree (preferred) DCF certified (or successfully begin DCF child care training within three months of start date and complete prior to the end of 2025) Successfully complete pre-employment background check, TB test, etc. Successfully complete CPR and First Aid course
Compensation :
