The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and the ability to inspire and motivate students in a high school setting. Candidate should be able to conduct business, and occupational curriculum lessons. Responsibilities
- Teach various subjects such as Business, Professional Writing, and Life Skills
- Create engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Conduct standardized testing and assess student progress
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Maintain a well-managed and organized classroom environment
- Familiarity with business practices, business law, and entrepreneurship Experience
- Previous experience teaching in a high school setting is preferred
- Strong background in Business
- Experience with academic advising and standardized testing
- Ability to work in a charter school environment is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues Qualifications
- College degree
- Florida Teaching Certificate (preferred)
- Experience with lesson planning and academic advising
- Strong communication skills for working with high school students
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures
- Ability to effectively teach and mentor high schoolers
- Writing skills for curriculum development and lesson plans
