This full-time position focuses on teaching math and science to students in grades 5 through 8. The ideal candidate is flexible, collaborative, and excited to work with a close-knit school community.
Primary Responsibilities:
Plan and teach engaging math and science lessons that follow the school’s curriculum Create a supportive and inclusive classroom where all students feel valued Use a variety of teaching methods to reach different learning styles Manage classroom behavior in a respectful and consistent way Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback through assignments, projects, and assessments Work closely with other teachers and staff to support students’ academic and personal development Be open to teaching an additional subject if needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Math or Science preferred) Prior teaching experience with middle school students Strong content knowledge in both math and science Ability to build positive relationships with students and families Strong communication and collaboration skills If you enjoy teaching and connecting with middle school students and want to be part of a supportive school community, we’d love to hear from you!
