Teacher Still We Rise Excellence Academy Kissimmee, FL 34744 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role involves teaching elementary education, managing classroom dynamics, and implementing effective behavior management strategies to support the diverse needs of our students. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Teach physical education classes, promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyles among students. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment. Provide childcare support, ensuring the well-being of students during school hours. Conduct early intervention strategies for students requiring additional support. Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive educational atmosphere that meets the needs of all learners. Utilize Montessori methods and other educational frameworks to enhance student learning experiences. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child’s development. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field preferred. Experience working with students in a classroom or daycare setting is highly desirable. Strong skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques. Knowledge of early intervention practices for children with diverse learning needs. . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. A passion for teaching and nurturing young minds, along with a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment. Preferred Qualifications Montessori Teacher Credential strongly desired (or the ability to secure the credential within 18 months of hire). Experience teaching in a private christian environment preferred. Bilingual (Spanish).
