The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, fostering the intellectual and social development of students, and implementing effective teaching strategies. This role requires strong communication skills, creativity, and the ability to engage with students of varying abilities. Duties Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Educate students in various subjects while promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students. Provide individualized support through tutoring and mentoring to enhance student understanding and performance. Collaborate with parents, staff, and administration to support student development and address any concerns. Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance, providing feedback to students and parents as needed. Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on educational best practices. Skills Strong background in classroom management techniques to create an effective learning atmosphere. Experience working with children in educational settings, demonstrating patience and understanding. Proficiency in behavior management strategies to address diverse student needs. Knowledge of childhood development principles to support age-appropriate learning experiences. Ability to provide first aid when necessary, ensuring the safety of all students. Experience in Christian counseling is a plus, promoting values-based education. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues. Tutoring experience is beneficial for providing additional academic support to students.
