Interventionist-(K-12) SLAM Palm Beach Charter 2845 Summit Boulevard, West Palm Beach, FL 33406 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Interventionist to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will work closely with children in a variety of settings, including preschool and private school environments, to provide tailored support that enhances learning outcomes. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and the ability to implement effective intervention strategies to foster student development. Responsibilities Assess the individual needs of students and develop personalized intervention plans. Implement targeted instructional strategies to support children’s learning in both classroom and one-on-one settings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary. Utilize learning technology and library services to enhance educational resources for students. Provide guidance and support in Montessori and other early childhood education methodologies. Maintain accurate records of student progress and intervention effectiveness. Create a nurturing environment that promotes positive behavior and engagement among children. Skills Experience working with preschool-aged children or in private school settings is highly desirable. Strong background in early childhood education principles and practices. Familiarity with Montessori methods and childcare best practices. Proficient in using learning management systems (LMS) for tracking student progress. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to adapt instructional techniques based on individual learning styles and needs. A passion for fostering a love of learning in young children through innovative teaching approaches.
