Role and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging and rigorous lesson plans that align with the school and state curriculum and Catholic teachings. Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes academic growth, character development, and spiritual formation. Establish and maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support the holistic development of each child. Integrate technology effectively into instruction to enhance learning experiences and meet the diverse needs of students. Collaborate with other faculty members to plan and participate in school-wide events, professional development activities, and parent conferences. Uphold the mission and values of Guardian Angels Catholic School by serving as a role model of faith, integrity, and excellence.

Qualifications:

Possess a valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education or Primary Education or be eligible to obtain certification upon employment. Demonstrate a strong commitment to Catholic education and the teachings of the Catholic Church. Must undergo a Level 2 background screening and complete Safe Environment Training as required by the Diocese of St. Petersburg.
