Lead Educator for Micro School Liberty Oaks Academy 162 South Gaines Street, Oak Hill, FL 32759 Overview Are you ready to be empowered to provide personalized learning for students through a transformative microschool experience? A microschool serves a small community of students, enabling close-knit relationships and tailored educational approaches. The Lead Educator is responsible for guiding students through their academic, social, and emotional development while maintaining an engaging and collaborative culture. {Key Responsibilities}

Instructional Leadership:

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with developmental educational standards, tailored to the needs of individual learners. Implement project-based learning, outdoor learning experiences, inquiry-driven methodologies, and other progressive teaching strategies. Facilitate multi-age learning experiences, cultivating skills such as critical thinking, creativity , and collaboration. Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

Student Development:

Foster a growth mindset in students by encouraging exploration, resilience, and self-directed learning. Support students’ social-emotional learning by creating a safe and inclusive environment. Mentor students in goal setting, time management, and personal accountability. Effectively communicate and collaborate with families to ensure alignment between school and home learning environments and apprise them of students’ progress. {Qualifications } A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Education or a related field is required. State teaching certification or equivalent credential. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Clear understanding and a passion to provide personalized and student-centered learning models. Strong emotional intelligence to connect with students and understand their needs- familiarity with Conscious Discipline is preferred. Prior teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply!
