AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
is seeking assistants for the 2025/2026(August/2025-May/2026) school year. This is a part-time position, Monday through Friday, 3-6pm, with some flexibility, and is open to retirees, part-timers, college students, etc.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring indoor/outdoor activities with particular attention to safety and well being Overseeing completion of homework assignments with assistance when needed Monitoring distribution of snacks/games/art supplies •
Requirements:
Be physically able to engage in light activities with children Possess the ability to multi-task Be capable of maintaining close observation at all times Candidate must be willing to commit for the full school year An assistant should understand the level of responsibility that comes with managing children entrusted to their care and must exhibit mature conduct at all times. An assistant should be adept at diffusing minor disagreements. All personnel working with children must complete a three hour safe environment course (at no charge) offered by Virtus and pass a background check.
