Position Summary:

Fulton Science Academy Private School is hiring a Middle School Spanish Teacher (6th-8th grade) for the 2025-2026 academic school year. Fulton Science Academy primarily serves advanced and gifted students and prides itself on providing a working atmosphere for our teachers to grow as professionals and individuals. The candidate hired for this position will be expected to provide a student-centered, supportive classroom environment aimed to help students achieve success. The classroom environment established should be one that balances students’ academic and social-emotional needs in alignment with Fulton Science Academy’s core values. We are seeking a Spanish language teacher who is trained and skilled in Comprehensible Input and Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling.

We use the following curriculums:

Somos, Garbanzo, Huellas, and comprehension-based novels.

Qualifications:

Required Bachelor’s degree

Preferred:

Valid GA teaching certification Teaching experience in Spanish Gifted endorsement Master’s degree in the education field AP Spanish experience

Key Responsibilities Include:

Teaching Spanish to Middle School Students Show evidence of differentiated instruction for all students by incorporating strategies for engagement, rigor, climate, and culture within the classroom. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in the classroom and workplace. Develop and maintain genuine, positive, and consistent communication with parents, faculty, and staff. Work collaboratively with Word Language Department and Secondary team colleagues. Contribute to and benefit from the school community. Practice professionalism through ongoing professional development, reflection, and continuous improvement. Other duties as assigned.

7:10am – 4:05pm
